This was an amazing trip but especially because the guide. Kaew made me feel very safe. She spoke well with the group and made interactions with the local people very easy. She showed us beautiful parts of Thailand that I could have never experienced on my own. She made sure we constantly had water and cooling pads as the weather was very hot. You could see the passion she has for Thailand, and this energy was contagious. She took her job very seriously and the years she has put into this company was reflected in her amazing quality of service. I would 100% do this tour again, especially with K.

It was amazing. I really would like to highlight the tour director, Dek. He was absolutely one of the best I have had and I have traveled quite a bit. I really wanted to pass along that information because he was really spectacular. I really liked this tour and would recommend it for others.

We can see and feel that Dek puts his heart and soul into his job to represent his beloved Thailand to us. He made our trip exceptionally easy and joyful. Our whole group had good harmony and we all loved Dek. When the trip is over, I felt that I left a piece of my heart behind in Thailand. I found myself having trouble adjusting back to my life back in Pennsylvania. I miss Thailand, her people, her heritage, and our tour guide Dek.

It was my first time visiting Thailand, and our tour guide Audi made my trip very memorable with his knowledge of all the places we visited. He was very organized and really cared for his tour group. I could tell his was a very proud Thai and his inside knowledge of the various temples was great. All the hotel accommodation and meals were excellent. Audi was very professional and always on time. Please tell Audi and that I am looking forward to his Phat kaphao (pad kra pao) recipe.

We just returned this week from our 9 Day Taste of Bangkok Gate 1 tour and the four of us in our travel party thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would like to go on future Gate 1 trips. Our tour manager, Jack, was such a key part of our positive experience! He was so friendly, fun and considerate of our interests and needs. He set a friendly open tone for the entire group. He was always anticipating our needs and willing to go the extra mile, whether personally bringing us to where we could get local currency or making detailed helpful suggestions for our free time. We loved that he was able to share so much about his Thai culture, whether it was helping us to understand historical or cultural aspects of sites we saw or sharing samples of local treats as we toured. We have done many cruises with Viking, which we enjoy because of their emphasis on cultural learning but we feel there was so much more depth in our cultural engagement having Jack as our manager. He definitely was a central part of our very positive tour experience!!!! Looking back on our tour, we all feel like Jack was not only an excellent tour manager in all the aspects the survey asked, he became a sincere friend - exuding a genuine care and hospitality for his visiting guests!

We had a wonderful time on our recent trip. We particularly enjoyed our Tour Leader, Oh. He was well-organized, helpful, and full of surprises. His knowledge and expertise regarding each location were impressive, and he truly knew how to read his audience. For example, when temperatures became too high to be outside, he thoughtfully adjusted our schedule so we could rest and continue the tour when the weather was more ideal.

Our tour director Pond was amazing. He did a very good job and went the extra mile to make sure we had a very good time. He was so nice, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating - everything you want in a tour guide. Our bus drive Mr Tum and bus assistant Mr Korn were so nice and helpful - they really added to our overall experience. This was an amazing trip - we were in very good hands. I would travel with them again without a second thought.

Wanted to let Gate 1 know what a great guide we had on our 17 day Thailand trip with Phuket. Her name is Goy. She is an asset to your company. She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. She always made sure all our needs were met and went out of her way to assist us. Guides like her should be recognized for how she contributes to your company.

This was a five star trip! The itinerary was great, and our Tour Director/Guide - Goy added events such as the Blue Temple which were outstanding. Goy was exceptional - she handled all the group member questions with patience and professionalism. She was clear on directions and expectations, and really elevated our experience. Out of 5 stars she easily merits 6! The hotels were excellent - rooms were spacious and well appointed, meals were exceptional, and the staff were all personable and professional. I chose most of the optional activities which were universally excellent. This was my first Gate 1 trip and based on my experience I am definitely considering more.

It was wonderful! The Tour Manager, Pimm was fantastic and the bus driver Sutep and his helper, Bank, we were exceptional. Everything went off without any complications or issues. Overall, and excellent trip! Looking forward to my next one to France in June.

Our 9-day Taste of Bangkok tour was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in excellent hands - and that's all thanks to our incredible tour manager, Dek. We had a one-on-one meeting with Dek the day after our arrival, where he provided us with a detailed booklet outlining each day's activities. Everything was organized to perfection, thoughtfully planned to ensure we experienced the very best of Bangkok - from iconic landmarks to meaningful cultural experiences. Dek truly made this trip exceptional. He called us "family," and we genuinely felt his warmth, passion, and dedication. His love for Thailand - past, present, and future - shined through in every story he shared. He answered every question with patience and insight and went above and beyond to make sure each of us had an unforgettable experience. This company, established over 45 years ago, clearly knows how to deliver excellence. This was our second tour with them - and certainly not our last! We stayed in top-rated hotels and traveled in upscale motor coach buses where drivers greeted us daily with a smile, a cold bottle of water, and individually wrapped cool towels. Every detail was thoughtfully handled. Not once did we have a complaint. Booking was seamless and stress-free. Our booking agent was knowledgeable, responsive, and just a phone call away whenever we had questions. The best part? This is truly a full-scale vacation. No stress, no searching endlessly for flights (unless you choose to) - just pure enjoyment from start to finish. If you want to save time, eliminate stress, and experience Bangkok with a first-class company that treats you like family - book this tour. We're already looking forward to next year's trip!

Our trip was fabulous!! I loved the mix of experiences from cities to the elephant sanctuary to staying in a beautiful resort to visiting a water buffalo farm to the awesome Thai massage to visiting the temples. Every experience was top notch!! And our guide Yo was fantastic!! Brought the history to life and is obviously passionate about elephants and Thailand in general! Yo did the best job as guide I have ever experienced over many tours!

This was the 8th tour that my husband and I took with Gate 1 Travel. Yo, our tour manager and guide for Thailand, was by far the best tour manager and guide that we ever had. She was excellent - very knowledgeable, very organized, very helpful, and very eager to share the Thai culture, food, language, history and traditions with every one of the 31 individuals in our group. She exposed us to crafts and arts unique to Thailand with fun hands-on activities including creating our own cotton fabric design and trying a variety of Thai foods in the local markets. She was very patient with all of us and her wonderful sense of humor made for a very pleasant vacation for everyone.

My 17-day journey through Thailand with Gate 1 Travel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first day, the itinerary struck the perfect balance between immersive cultural experiences, breathtaking natural beauty, and thoughtful moments of rest and indulgence. Every detail felt intentional - seamless logistics, excellent accommodations, unforgettable meals, and experiences that allowed us to truly feel the soul of Thailand rather than just see it. We explored vibrant cities alive with history and color, serene temples that invited reflection, lush landscapes that felt almost unreal, and coastal moments that reminded you how magical this country truly is. Whether navigating bustling markets, learning local customs, or soaking in once-in-a-lifetime scenery, the trip never felt rushed - only rich, layered, and deeply rewarding. What elevated this journey from wonderful to exceptional was our tour guide, Oum. Oum was phenomenal in every sense of the word. Her knowledge of Thai history, culture, and traditions was impressive, but it was her warmth, humor, and intuition that truly set her apart. She anticipated needs before they were voiced, handled every detail with grace, and made each traveler feel seen, supported, and cared for. Oum shared Thailand with us not just as a guide, but as a storyteller and cultural ambassador. Her passion was infectious, her explanations thoughtful and engaging, and her presence brought a sense of ease and joy to every day. She created an environment where learning felt natural, laughter came easily, and memories were made effortlessly. This trip exceeded every expectation. I walked away not only with stunning photos and unforgettable experiences, but with a deep appreciation for Thailand and immense gratitude for the care and excellence provided by Gate 1 Travel - and especially for Oum, who made this journey truly unforgettable.

This was my first time of using a tour group and I was very, very, impressed with everything that was done. Extremely organized and Pat, our tour director was amazing. I will definitely recommend your group to any of my friends that are interested in Thailand. Also for any trips that I might take in the future, I will definitely look to see if Gate 1 has a tour there. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Another great Gate1 trip. Thailand is beautiful and we saw so much of the country. Tick was an excellent tour guide taking good care of us all and sharing local treats every day with us making our Thailand experience even better. This trip was even better than I had hoped and the hotels and resorts were wonderful. I'm looking forward to my next trip this May. Thank you for another wonderful experience.

The entire trip was amazing - enjoyable and learned a lot. The tour manager and local guide in Siem Reap were excellent. They were very knowledgeable on the history of the places we visited. They also shared lots of interesting local information that had personal sentiments, which made the places more relatable to the present. On Day 6 - Dinner with cooking demo and with history of the Thai home's residents was most enjoyable - deserving a special mention. The food was absolutely delicious, home-made with authentic local ingredients & methods. Their descriptions of their big house (of teak), garden and history were interesting and reflective of the Thai societal changes over the years. It was a very educational and worthwhile experience. Totally recommended!

Just wanted to pass on that our TM, Mr Oh is OUTSTANDING. He put his heart and soul into the trip. Taught us so much . Gate 1 is really lucky to have such great TM like him. Couldn't ask for anything more. He is friendly, highly organized, clear, smart, and insightful. He was on top of everything and knew how to interact with the guests. I completed survey but wanted to pass on some extra kudos for this fabulous TM, probably the best we have ever had. TM like Oh make Gate 1 such a special travel company.

We just returned from an amazing 17 day trip to Thailand. We absolutely love our traveling experiences with Gate 1. AJ, our Tour Manager was exceptional and an excellent communicator. We appreciate all the historical information and cultural insights on Thailand. He also used WhatsApp for messaging and sending the group pictures of our tour. AJ provided an extra booklet with the daily itinerary and added some additional fun stops along the way on our bus rides. We loved AJ's sense of humor and his ability to interact so positively with our group. Everything was so smooth and well organized. Thank you Gate 1 for another wonderful trip!

We had a great trip and enjoyed Thailand very much. The accommodations were above our expectations and we enjoyed all the included meals. We loved the included excursions and each day was different but all equally special. Otto was our Tour Manager and he contributed very much to the enjoyment of our trip. He was very kind and patient. He escorted us through three airports in a very organized manner. He kept us safe and gave us a wonderful introduction to Thailand. Otto gave us a list of activities for our free time and direction on how to access these activities. As a result our free time was greatly enhanced by these additional activities.

I cannot say enough positive things about your company, our tour guide Tan and the excursions we experienced. The restaurants were perfect as were any side events Tan introduced us to.... This was our 1st Gate1 trip and we are already planning another event!!!! We wouldn't go with any other company. Thank you

Our tour director, Jack, is an outstanding ambassador for Gate 1. G1 provided the opportunity but Jack provided the passion, genuine warmth and energy to make this trip so memorable. This is our third trip in a row with Gate 1, where each tour director has surpassed the excellence shown by the previous one, with a seemingly limitless skill in providing exemplary customer experiences. In 20 yrs of international travel, we have never experienced the warmth and heartfelt attention that Jack paid to his group. Jack made you feel a part of the country, not just touring it. What a gift to be able to do this. Jack provided ample guidance at each venue but allowed you the space to experience the sights and sounds on your own. Truly a gifted and talented professional and Gate 1 should take pride in knowing that Jack represents them so well!

My trip to Bangkok, Thailand was the best vacation I've ever had! I was with a great group of travelers and our tour manager, Nok was absolutely fabulous! Bangkok is an amazing place and I'm blessed to have had Gate I for my travel needs. I look forward to my next trip with Gate 1.

I loved it! This was my first Gate 1 tour, but it won't be my last. The itinerary had the perfect balance of planned activities and free time. And the planned activities were the perfect balance of don't-miss tourist sites and I-never-would-have-found-this-on-my-own sites and activities. The accommodations were exceptional and because so many sumptuous meals were included, I only paid for one additional meal during the two weeks. But the highlight of the tour was our Tour Manager Audi. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, organized, and thoughtful, so the tour ran flawlessly. I was surprised when seasoned travelers told me that Audi is a good representation of tour managers for all Gate 1 tours. So, I am eagerly making plans for my next Gate 1 tour!

Just wanted to say that our guide for Thailand, Dek, was outstanding. We've had many great Gate 1 guides - and still he stood out. He took a lot of extra effort to help us and other tour members shake their experiences in the ways they wanted. He was so helpful with information and ideas for free time and food. His knowledge and sense of humor are top notch. He made it a unique and memorable trip! Our driver and assistant were also outstanding and helpful. Lastly, the lunch we had at Gikden Truangke at the farm was incredible.

My trip was wonderful. Dek our tour manager was great. He provided us with lots of information about Thailand and introduced us to many local snacks.

Our trip to Vietnam was wonderful. Our tour manager, Phi, was amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip memorable for everyone. He was so fun, caring, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about Vietnam and exhibited a true love for his country and his career as a tour guide. All planned activities went smoothly with everything so well planned. Phi did such a great job and his booklet with the schedule and information we needed was priceless! Thank you, Phi, and hope to cross paths again someday.

We just completed 17 days trip to Thailand. We want to let you know that the tour manager Kaew was excellent, she went beyond expectations to do the best. She was very competent and had a passion to give her the best experience. We believe she is the best tour manager of all the gate1 tours we had as this was our six gate1 tour. The tour manager made all possible efforts to take care of us and give us more than we expected. We believe she is the "Best" that Gate1 has to offer.

My trip was fantastic! Our tour guide Jumbo was too notch! He had a wonderful sense of humor and handled two rather difficult travelers with kindness and grace. The tours were fantastic and the driver and our bus aide Boss was also wonderful! Can't wait until my next trip!

Our tour guide, Jumbo, was excellent! I cannot say enough good things about him!! His knowledge and presentation skills gave me a much greater understanding of Thailand and left me wanting to learn more. Jumbo has a wonderful personality - lots of laughing on this trip! This was my first experience with Gate 1 Travel and I can honestly say I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

Praises and kudos to our tour director Jumbo, coach driver Tok, and coach assistant Vin. This being my fist Gate 1 trip and my first tour company trip I didn't know what to expect. From the minute I landed in Bangkok to the minute they dropped me back there at trip's end I was enveloped in attention, caring, safety, comfort, fun, camaraderie, and hourly pleasant surprises (some small and some large) from Jumbo and his crew. It was the trip of a lifetime made even more memorable by Jumbo's (and crew's) diligence, enthusiasm, attention to detail, sterling communication, and ability to anticipate needs/wants of the group. You (Gate1) have a new member of the company cult, and I am happy to say that I would consider another repeat Thailand booking if I knew for sure I would get Jumbo and his crew for a tour director. Thank you for such a great tour company experience.

Our trip to Thailand was amazing. My wife, our 17-year-old daughter and myself had a blast. Gate One did a great job. We really enjoyed the time with the locals each day. The moment we met our Tour Guide Jack we knew we were going to have a great trip. Jack has the perfect combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, compassion and authenticity. I know for sure everyone in our group connected with Jack, we all loved him. Gate One has a real keeper with Jack.

Korn was an outstanding tour director. He gave us a lot of information about Thai culture and was always happy to answer questions. I love learning about different cultures, so I always have a lot of questions and Korn was always available to answer them in a thorough manner and even give examples from his own life experiences. When I wanted to see Thai traditional dance, he found a venue for several of us to attend on one of our free evenings. He made the reservations, gave us the address in Thai for the local Grab taxi, and made sure that we got there on time. He always had great ideas on things to do or see in our free time. He was also flexible and accommodated to different needs in the group. He made sure everyone's needs were met at every lunch and dinner. He is a great ambassador for Thailand and its culture but importantly, also for Gate 1 travel company. Kindly share these comments with Korn and his supervisor because I want him to know how much we appreciated his care and interactions with us and our group. Thailand will always hold a special place in our hearts because of him.

The trip was excellent! Tour manager Otto is so amazing that he led the whole group had a great time together as a Gate 1 family. He is so humorous and knowledgeable in history, culture and local customs. And above all, he is a caring passionate manager and handles all matters smoothly and efficiently!

My trip was great, thank you. This is the first time I am using Gate1 and I am really impressed by how well was organized. Our tour manager York, the driver Nung and his assistant Phet made such a difference. Beautiful country, beautiful people and amazing experiences.

I just returned from Tastes of Bangkok - want to let you know that Kit is an incredible Tour Manager. Patient, informative, great sense of humor, incredibly knowledgeable. Very patient with herding cats!! Highly recommend this tour, it was amazing.

The trip to Bangkok, Thailand was fantastic. Our hotel was beautiful and so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I have never been on a GateOne Tour before, but certainly will go on another. Our tour bus was so comfortable and the driver excellent. Our tour guide, Kit, was excellent. She had so much knowledge and made each day interesting and fun! Thank you Gate One!

Our first Travel experience with Gate 1 has been excellent. We had an amazing Tour Leader, who is organized, kind, considerate, considerate, respectful and very professional. She went above and beyond for ensure our safety and comfort. Gate1 is so fortunate to have her in your team and we were all so blessed to have her as our Tour Leader. We look forward to more travel with Gate 1 and pray that our travel paths will cross with our wonderful tour leader in Tim.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize our tour manager, Kit, for the exceptional job she did on our recent trip. I've been a travel agent for 4 years and have experienced many land tours through various providers, but this was my first experience with Gate 1. Kit's expertise, leadership, and genuine care for each traveler set a new standard for excellence. Her professionalism and deep knowledge elevated every aspect of the tour, and she has truly set the bar to which all other Tour Managers will be measured. She is an extraordinary asset to your company, and I will confidently recommend Gate 1 to my clients, and have shared with my colleagues, based on this experience alone. Thank you for providing such outstanding service.

We just completed our 13-day Classic Thailand trip, and we keep repeating to friends and family and to each other: "That was a FABULOUS trip!" Our tour manager, Goy, was the best tour manager we've experienced when we think of our 3 other Gate 1 trips (Peru, Morocco, Costa Rica). Goy demonstrated extra special service, surprises (introducing us to local/regional food and snacks, etc.), humor, friendliness, empathy and group management expertise. She was an ultimate pro in navigating our large group and had fun with all of us while leading us and teaching us about her country, the culture, the history and the fantastic food! Our driver, Wit and associate, Golf were also exceptional. Superior driving, service and always a smile on their faces. Thank you Gate 1...and many thanks to Goy, Wit and Golf for sharing your country and creating a fantastic experience for us!

Our tour representative, Nee, was incredible. I have take trips with Gate 1 as well as other travel companies and she is the best one yet!!!! I love the itinerary book she put together for us, the suggestions, her availability on 'whatsApp', her calmness when there were issues, Her concern over her team. Just a wonderful experience because we knew 'Nee had us'!!!!!!

I'm writing to share my sincere appreciation for the outstanding support we received from Oh during our recent travels in Thailand. His performance went far beyond what we expected and deserves to be recognized. From the outset, Oh demonstrated extraordinary knowledge of Thailand-its culture and people, communities, government/royalty, economy, and logistical landscape. He didn't just arrange our trip; he enriched it. He anticipated our needs, resolved issues before they arose, and even secured helpful contacts for things as small as laundry services, which made a big difference for our group's comfort and efficiency. It was also clear how highly respected he is among local partners and residents. That respect gave us a level of access, trust, and cultural understanding that we could not have achieved on our own. Equally impressive was his generosity with his time. He made himself available to us early in the mornings and late into the evenings without hesitation. Throughout, his calm presence, professionalism, and guardianship made us feel completely safe and cared for. In short, Oh exemplified what I imagine is the very best of your organization-knowledgeable, resourceful, culturally fluent, and deeply committed to customer care. We are profoundly grateful for his efforts and wanted you to know about the positive impact he had on our experience.

The tour manager and her team (Nee, Nue & Nine) were truly exceptional and a well-oiled machine. Nee was extremely knowledgeable and a great time manager. She made the difference in our vacation. The driver and assistant were proactive and kept us safe. Nee provided excellent cultural overviews before we arrived at each destination. Nee's sense of humor was a refreshing addition!

Wonderful trip, our tour guide DEK was fantastic, best ever tour guide, went above and beyond beyond expectations.

Came back recently from Thailand trip in April. I have to say that it was one of the best trips we had. Thailand is such a beautiful place and the people are so friendly. We had no fear walking around at night, of course using common sense. However, our guide, Ya, was awesome. He had so much knowledge and he went above and beyond to make this trip a memorable one. He took us places that were not on the itinerary, of course we had a group that kept to the schedule which made this possible. He explained everything so thoroughly and answered every question. Someone in our group, left a phone in one of the tours and he was able to contact them and coordinate with another gate1 tour which were crossing paths at one point. This is a testament to the the Thailand people and their honesty. Other places that phone would have been lost. Ya was always buying food and fruits from different locations to give to us to try. He would make stops and have us get off to show us some of the culture and way of life of the Thai People. It was a very pleasant trip thanks to Ya and his support Staff on the bus Yu and No. they were very friendly and made sure we were safe, comfortable, and on schedule. This is a place I would love to visit again and Gate1 is our go to tour company. Hope they never change. They truly provide more of the world for less.
