The entire trip was amazing - enjoyable and learned a lot. The tour manager and local guide in Siem Reap were excellent. They were very knowledgeable on the history of the places we visited. They also shared lots of interesting local information that had personal sentiments, which made the places more relatable to the present. On Day 6 - Dinner with cooking demo and with history of the Thai home's residents was most enjoyable - deserving a special mention. The food was absolutely delicious, home-made with authentic local ingredients & methods. Their descriptions of their big house (of teak), garden and history were interesting and reflective of the Thai societal changes over the years. It was a very educational and worthwhile experience. Totally recommended!

Just wanted to pass on that our TM, Mr Oh is OUTSTANDING. He put his heart and soul into the trip. Taught us so much . Gate 1 is really lucky to have such great TM like him. Couldn't ask for anything more. He is friendly, highly organized, clear, smart, and insightful. He was on top of everything and knew how to interact with the guests. We just returned from an amazing 17 day trip to Thailand. We absolutely love our traveling experiences with Gate 1. AJ, our Tour Manager was exceptional and an excellent communicator. We appreciate all the historical information and cultural insights on Thailand. He also used WhatsApp for messaging and sending the group pictures of our tour. AJ provided an extra booklet with the daily itinerary and added some additional fun stops along the way on our bus rides. We loved AJ's sense of humor and his ability to interact so positively with our group. Everything was so smooth and well organized. Thank you Gate 1 for another wonderful trip!

We had a great trip and enjoyed Thailand very much. The accommodations were above our expectations and we enjoyed all the included meals. We loved the included excursions and each day was different but all equally special. Otto was our Tour Manager and he contributed very much to the enjoyment of our trip. He was very kind and patient. He escorted us through three airports in a very organized manner. He kept us safe and gave us a wonderful introduction to Thailand. Otto gave us a list of activities for our free time and direction on how to access these activities. As a result our free time was greatly enhanced by these additional activities.

I cannot say enough positive things about your company, our tour guide Tan and the excursions we experienced. The restaurants were perfect as were any side events Tan introduced us to.... Our tour director, Jack, is an outstanding ambassador for Gate 1. G1 provided the opportunity but Jack provided the passion, genuine warmth and energy to make this trip so memorable. This is our third trip in a row with Gate 1, where each tour director has surpassed the excellence shown by the previous one, with a seemingly limitless skill in providing exemplary customer experiences. In 20 yrs of international travel, we have never experienced the warmth and heartfelt attention that Jack paid to his group. Jack made you feel a part of the country, not just touring it. What a gift to be able to do this. Jack provided ample guidance at each venue but allowed you the space to experience the sights and sounds on your own. Truly a gifted and talented professional and Gate 1 should take pride in knowing that Jack represents them so well!

My trip to Bangkok, Thailand was the best vacation I've ever had! I was with a great group of travelers and our tour manager, Nok was absolutely fabulous! Bangkok is an amazing place and I'm blessed to have had Gate I for my travel needs. I look forward to my next trip with Gate 1.

I loved it! This was my first Gate 1 tour, but it won't be my last. The itinerary had the perfect balance of planned activities and free time. And the planned activities were the perfect balance of don't-miss tourist sites and I-never-would-have-found-this-on-my-own sites and activities. The accommodations were exceptional and because so many sumptuous meals were included, I only paid for one additional meal during the two weeks. But the highlight of the tour was our Tour Manager Audi. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, organized, and thoughtful, so the tour ran flawlessly. I was surprised when seasoned travelers told me that Audi is a good representation of tour managers for all Gate 1 tours. So, I am eagerly making plans for my next Gate 1 tour!

Just wanted to say that our guide for Thailand, Dek, was outstanding. We've had many great Gate 1 guides - and still he stood out. He took a lot of extra effort to help us and other tour members shake their experiences in the ways they wanted. He was so helpful with information and ideas for free time and food. His knowledge and sense of humor are top notch. He made it a unique and memorable trip! Our driver and assistant were also outstanding and helpful. Lastly, the lunch we had at Gikden Truangke at the farm was incredible.

We just completed 17 days trip to Thailand. We want to let you know that the tour manager Kaew was excellent, she went beyond expectations to do the best. She was very competent and had a passion to give her the best experience. We believe she is the best tour manager of all the gate1 tours we had as this was our six gate1 tour. The tour manager made all possible efforts to take care of us and give us more than we expected. We believe she is the "Best" that Gate1 has to offer.

My trip was fantastic! Our tour guide Jumbo was too notch! He had a wonderful sense of humor and handled two rather difficult travelers with kindness and grace. The tours were fantastic and the driver and our bus aide Boss was also wonderful! Can't wait until my next trip!

Our tour guide, Jumbo, was excellent! I cannot say enough good things about him!! His knowledge and presentation skills gave me a much greater understanding of Thailand and left me wanting to learn more. Jumbo has a wonderful personality - lots of laughing on this trip! From the minute I landed in Bangkok to the minute they dropped me back there at trip's end I was enveloped in attention, caring, safety, comfort, fun, camaraderie, and hourly pleasant surprises (some small and some large) from Jumbo and his crew. You (Gate1) have a new member of the company cult, and I am happy to say that I would consider another repeat Thailand booking if I knew for sure I would get Jumbo and his crew for a tour director. Our trip to Thailand was amazing. My wife, our 17-year-old daughter and myself had a blast. Gate One did a great job. We really enjoyed the time with the locals each day. The moment we met our Tour Guide Jack we knew we were going to have a great trip. Jack has the perfect combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, compassion and authenticity. I know for sure everyone in our group connected with Jack, we all loved him. Gate One has a real keeper with Jack.

Korn was an outstanding tour director. He gave us a lot of information about Thai culture and was always happy to answer questions. I love learning about different cultures, so I always have a lot of questions and Korn was always available to answer them in a thorough manner and even give examples from his own life experiences. When I wanted to see Thai traditional dance, he found a venue for several of us to attend on one of our free evenings. He made the reservations, gave us the address in Thai for the local Grab taxi, and made sure that we got there on time. He always had great ideas on things to do or see in our free time. He was also flexible and accommodated to different needs in the group. He made sure everyone's needs were met at every lunch and dinner. He is a great ambassador for Thailand and its culture but importantly, also for Gate 1 travel company. Kindly share these comments with Korn and his supervisor because I want him to know how much we appreciated his care and interactions with us and our group. Thailand will always hold a special place in our hearts because of him.

The trip was excellent! Tour manager Otto is so amazing that he led the whole group had a great time together as a Gate 1 family. The trip to Bangkok, Thailand was fantastic. Our hotel was beautiful and so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We just completed our 13-day Classic Thailand trip, and we keep repeating to friends and family and to each other: "That was a FABULOUS trip!" Our tour manager, Goy, was the best tour manager we've experienced when we think of our 3 other Gate 1 trips (Peru, Morocco, Costa Rica). Goy demonstrated extra special service, surprises (introducing us to local/regional food and snacks, etc.), humor, friendliness, empathy and group management expertise. She was an ultimate pro in navigating our large group and had fun with all of us while leading us and teaching us about her country, the culture, the history and the fantastic food! Our driver, Wit and associate, Golf were also exceptional. Superior driving, service and always a smile on their faces. Our tour representative, Nee, was incredible. I have take trips with Gate 1 as well as other travel companies and she is the best one yet!!!! I love the itinerary book she put together for us, the suggestions, her availability on 'whatsApp', her calmness when there were issues, Her concern over her team. We have taken 10 gate 1 trips. They were all wonderful, but this trip was exceptional, and it was because of our guide Kit. She took care of the smallest details and made everyone feel special. This is why our group meshed so well. We had 3 fourteen-year-olds in our group, they commented that Kit listened to them and made them feel special. Guides like Kit are what makes Gate 1 special. Now all our adult kids want to go on this trip We have traveled for over 59 years and 58 countries and this was the most memorable

The tour manager and her team (Nee, Nue & Nine) were truly exceptional and a well-oiled machine. Nee was extremely knowledgeable and a great time manager. She made the difference in our vacation. The driver and assistant were proactive and kept us safe. Nee provided excellent cultural overviews before we arrived at each destination. Nee's sense of humor was a refreshing addition!

I have nothing but praise for our tour director Dek. He made everything go smoothly, was attentive to everyone, and was just fun to be with. He also went over and above in making sure we had options for our down time. He is a true asset to Gate 1.

Came back recently from Thailand trip in April. I have to say that it was one of the best trips we had. Thailand is such a beautiful place and the people are so friendly. We had no fear walking around at night, of course using common sense. However, our guide, Ya, was awesome. He had so much knowledge and he went above and beyond to make this trip a memorable one. He took us places that were not on the itinerary, of course we had a group that kept to the schedule which made this possible. He explained everything so thoroughly and answered every question. Someone in our group, left a phone in one of the tours and he was able to contact them and coordinate with another gate1 tour which were crossing paths at one point. This is a testament to the the Thailand people and their honesty. Other places that phone would have been lost. Ya was always buying food and fruits from different locations to give to us to try. He would make stops and have us get off to show us some of the culture and way of life of the Thai People. It was a very pleasant trip thanks to Ya and his support Staff on the bus Yu and No. they were very friendly and made sure we were safe, comfortable, and on schedule. This is a place I would love to visit again and Gate1 is our go to tour company. Hope they never change. They truly provide more of the world for less.

It was a phenomenal trip! Our tour guide Goy and her awesome team was professional and extremely personable great attention to details. I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe with the driver. We traveled in pure comfort and the accommodations was first class. Goy shared the amazing history of the Thia people and their culture along with local fruits, pastries and eatery. I definitely received more from the trip than what I paid. I'm looking forward to my next trip with Gate 1. Congratulations to an amazing Tour Guide (Goy) bus driver and their assistant. I don't usually write comments, but I had to make sure that you are aware of what a Gem you have with guide, Nu. He was beyond amazing, so very knowledgeable about this country, so respectful and kindness was more than we have ever witnessed in all our travels and let me just say we have travelers for some time. We will have to start using Gate 1, in hopes that all your guides can come close to what we experienced with Nu, thank you gate 1 for this amazing trip.

We wanted to let you know how wonderful Pisanu was as our tour guide. He was very friendly, cordial, knowledgeable, sensitive, pleasant, funny and engaging. He seemed very well in tuned with this group and had a very well understanding of each of us and what motivated us. He also had a LOT of patience with each of us and our little/big personal needs and requests. He went above and beyond his job. For example: My husband misplaced his meal card at one of the Malls and Nu was able to help interpret for my husband in getting a refund for the unused funds in the meal card. At another time, a lot of us were bombarding him with different requests at the same time when we arrived at the Hotel and he handled it with grace, calmness and patience. He truly has a calling for this type of profession, and it suits him well. We had the great pleasure of getting to know him and having him as our tour guide. The trip was awesome, and I highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Gate One made our trip to Thailand extremely enjoyable and totally unforgettable. Led every step of the way by our caring, helpful and professional guide Joe, we saw dozens of sites that were nothing short of amazing. At the end of the list was our trip to an elephant sanctuary and a hidden farm where we fed water buffalo before they marched by us into a nearby watering hole. We saw lavish, thriving temples and temples that had been destroyed in war or devastated by thousands of years of age. We stayed in an upscale hotel with wonderful buffet meals. We also dined at private homes and in secluded restaurants that only Gate One could find. All of these wonders were documented by Joe, who took pictures and videos before sharing them with our lovely group of 17 people. This was our third Gate One trip and most certainly won't be the last.

What an incredible experience! I can't say enough about our tour guide Jack, who turned what could have been just another tourist excursion into something truly special. From the moment we met him, his warm smile and genuine enthusiasm set the perfect tone for our adventures. Jack wasn't just a guide - he was like that knowledgeable local friend you wish you had in every city you visit. His timing was impeccable, starting each tour right on schedule, but it was his passion for sharing Thai culture that really stood out. He introduced us to hidden gems and authentic Thai dishes that I would have walked right past if I was on my own. Thanks to his encouragement, I found myself trying (and loving!) local delicacies I never would have dared to sample otherwise. Beyond the scheduled tours, Jack went above and beyond by pointing us toward fantastic shopping spots and restaurant recommendations that proved to be spot-on every time. It's rare to find someone who can make you feel so comfortable exploring an unfamiliar place, but Jack did exactly that. If I could give him more than a perfect 10/10, I would. He didn't just show us around - he helped us fall in love with Thailand.

Wonderful! Very interesting to see how the people live. Love the countryside and rice fields. The food is so so good. Came home to try my own green curry. The tour guide Boom was excellent in history and driver and second were very good. I am amazed at the driving skills of all the motorist, scooters and tuktuks.Great vacation.

I have to share that Jinny, our tour director, was simply amazing, and that our first trip to Thailand was an exceptional and delightful experience, in great part, thanks to her! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a real and literal taste of Thailand. She bought and shared many different fruits, desserts, and snacks with all of us, which if she had not shared with us, my husband and I probably would had never tried. She had great recommendations of places to visit, things to do, and restaurants to eat at during our free time. She took her time to answer all of our questions, was very patient and polite with tardy group members, and genuinely concerned about our safety. We will be eternally grateful for the opportunity to have her as our tour director. :)
