The Deal

Arrive in Cape Town. Drive to Kloof Nek and Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top by aerial cable car* (weather permitting) and see the panoramic views of the city and beaches. After descending from the plateau, tour the Desmond Tutu Legacy Foundation. Learn about Archbishop Tutu's life through immersive exhibits, multimedia displays, and personal artifacts. Next, visit the Milnerton Lighthouse before continuing to the prominent Shimansky Jewelers.

Next, depart on a half day Cape Peninsula Tour. Stop at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you may see baboons by the roadside, rheboks, cape mountain zebras, bonteboks, and the elusive eland. Following the coastline along False Bay, return to Cape Town by way of Simon's Town. Here, visit the penguin colonies at Boulders Beach and continue with a scenic drive over Muizenberg Mountain.

Finally, transfer to the airport in Kasane to board a light aircraft flight (4 or 5 seat plane) to the lush Okavango Delta, a unique wildlife location. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Okavango is a vast and virtually untouched freshwater wetland in the heart of Botswana's arid Kalahari Desert with an abundance of wildlife. In the afternoon, look out for ostrich, antelope, and wildebeests, along with hippos and crocodiles at the water's edge, as well as hundreds of bird species.
