The Deal

Begin the tour with a journey to Lindau, an island town on Lake Constance. Stroll through the Old Town and admire the iconic Bavarian Lion and lighthouse at the waterfront. Continue to Friedrichshafen and visit the Zeppelin Museum, one of the world's largest museums on the history of aviation, boasting over 1,500 exhibits. Next, take a drive through the Black Forest region, an area of unrivaled natural beauty with its dense forests of thick pine trees and arrive in Lake Titisee. In the afternoon, visit the Cuckoo Clock Museum, where you'll discover the history and craftmanship behind Germany's renowned timepieces. After a glassblowing demonstration, continue to your hotel in Breitnau.

The next day, travel to Heidelberg, home to the oldest university in Germany. Visit the imposing red sandstone ruins of Heidelberg Castle, originally built in the 12th century. This hilltop Gothic masterpiece, standing majestically over the Old Town, has encountered turbulent times but still stands as a dominant symbol of the city. Then, discover the city of Mannheim on a walking tour, exploring its unique grid-style streets, historic landmarks, and impressive Baroque architecture, including Mannheim Palace. Known as the birthplace of the automobile, the city offers a mix of modern innovation, historical charm, and a vibrant cultural scene.

Last, travel toward Regensburg. Along the way, visit Nuremberg, one of Germany's most historic and culturally rich cities, offering a unique blend of medieval architecture, WWII history, and vibrant modern life. Once in  Regensburg, one of Germany's best-preserved medieval cities, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guided walking tour highlights the city's stunning architecture as you view the Old Town Hall, the Dom St. Peter, and the Porta Praetoria, gateway to an ancient Roman fort. Later that night, bid farewell to your Tour Manager during dinner at a local restaurant.
